LED LIGHT THERAPY

Light therapy is the application of specific wavelengths of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The treatment is non-invasive, painless, requires no recovery time, and can be used safely on all skin types.

The energy delivered is then used to improve cellular performance, and has a variety of benefits including the treatment of acne, rosacea, dermatitis conditions, inflammation and the improvement of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation.

LED Light Therapy


LED Light Therapy has been developed as a natural, non-invasive and relaxing procedure.

Light targets skin cells and maximises treatment results in a wide range of dermatological conditions which includes dermatitis, acne, rosacea, and other inflamed skin conditions to name a few. Also proven to accelerate wound and scar healing, making it ideal for post dermal/invasive procedures.

RED light acts to rejuvenate and repair damaged skin, improve uneven skin tone and reduce the appearance of fines line and wrinkles by stimulating collagen producing cells.

Blue light is designed to deliver pure blue light at a precise wavelength. The blue light is clinically proven to be effective in the treatment of acne by producing anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory activity.

LED Wavelength

Invisible deep penetrating 830 nm near-infrared light targets dermal skin cells and is the most deeply penetrating wavelength, working indirectly through cell membrane absorption to stimulate complex cellular processes that results in increased collagen, elastin and growth factor production to treat the visible signs of photodamage and stimulate cellular repair mechanisms essential in the wound healing process.

Healite

Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) with HEALITE II is the therapeutic use of incident light to photomodulate cellular function, improving healing times, relieving pain, subsiding active acne, promoting skin rejuvenation and more. HEALITE II harnesses the properties of 830/590, 633 and 415 nm light via Light Emitting Diode (LED) technology, properly delivered and concentrated, treating effectively without possibility of physical trauma or thermal damage. LLLT with HEALITE II can be used as a standalone therapy or as an adjunctive therapy with many other treatments.

LLLT Engineering

Optical Lens Array Technology (OLAT) uses collimation optics to more effectively harness and deliver the healing energy of 1800 new generation LEDs. This concentrates the therapeutic photon intensities in the cells and organelles of the target tissue, thus maximising the therapeutic outcome. OLAT improves the efficiency and enhances the efficacy of LED phototherapy.

How it works

Lutronic’s HEALITE II treats the skin without any risk of physical trauma or damage. Low Level Light Therapy has myriad benefits. It improves skin tone and luminosity, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and increases collagen and elastin production. Skin rejuvenation LED facials usually last no longer than 11 minutes, while for acne a slightly longer treatment of around 20 minutes is recommended.

Three types of wavelength settings offer an array of cosmetic and medical treatments to patients of various skin types and any age. Your patient will simply sit or lie down following a facial or cleansing treatment, it’s advised all make up is removed. Patients can then relax as the specifically timed programme focuses LED light wavelengths onto the face or effected areas. The benefits to the skin speak for themselves, but as well as visual benefits patients will also enjoy the relaxing and mood-lifting benefits of low-level light therapy.

Blue Light 415 NM

 HEALITE II Blue light is used to kill bacteria in the skin, bacteria causes acne, blemishes and inflammation. Blue light combats breakouts, blackheads and whiteheads. Blue light has powerful anti-bacterial properties, used as a decongestant to purify acne prone or problem skin, normalising oil production. For – Active Acne

Red Light 633 NM

HEALITE II Red light energy activates the body’s own natural rejuvenation processes to counteract the signs of aging by activating local cellular metabolism, promoting circulation, accelerating cell renewal and collagen production. For – Non-melanoma Skin Cancer, Skin Rejuvenation, Hair Regrowth, Active Acne.

Yellow Light 830 NM with 590 NM photosequencing

HEALITE II Yellow light is also used for Acne and Skin Rejuvenation.
