The Science Behind Fat Freezing
CLATUU 360° FREEZE uses a controlled cooling process that destroys fat cells, but has no effect on normal cells. Are all fat-freezing machines the same?
Definitely NO. There are so many cheap machines on the market that are wrapped and sold in Australia as an Australian brand. These devices are also not “TGA’ approved and therefore do not have any clinical studies to prove their efficacy. They use ‘trick’ marketing. This treatment is approved in Australia but what about their machine?
In the older technology there are 2 plates inside of the handle that cool the skin. This causes a lumpy result. The cheap machines also have no feedback mechanisms for temperature regulation causing the client to potentially suffer frost bite or burns on their skin. The cheap machines have set temperatures as -5 degrees however staff can override these temperatures, which is fraught with danger, as skin burns or frost bite can cause permanent scarring. The coolsculpting machine offers only the 2 plates inside the fat freezing handle which is why we chose the clatuu fat freezing machine. This gives the smoothest skin results and best fat loss.
The cheap machines also do not give good results. So even if the price they are quoting is cheap you will need to repeat any session to get any type of visible fat loss.
How long do treatments take with CLATUU’s 360 handpiece?
Treatments take between 40 and 60 minutes at controlled temperatures yielding visible and measurable results within 6-12 weeks.
How does the CLATUU 360 treatment feel?
The initial sensation will be a light tugging of the skin into the treatment cup. Once the target temperature is reached, the skin will be numb from sensation for most of the session. A light manual massage is given at the end of the treatment to restore sensation and to maximise the benefits of the treatment. Patients who have done several treatments have found CLATUU sessions to be comfortable.
How many treatments will I need?
Typically, a single treatment will give you up to 30% reduction (in comparison to our competitors’ 20%) and a larger area in the fat content of a specified target area of the body. Generally we do recommend 1-2 treatment cycles per area or optimum results.
