NEW JUVÉDERM
A smooth injectable gel that is made from a natural complex sugar called Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally within the tissues of living cells in skin. It assists in skin hydration by attracting and holding water and also combines with colagen and elastin to provide skin structure and elasticity.
The hyaluronic injectable gel in Juvadérm is not derived from animals and is manufactured and purified by Allegan, especially for the smoothing of wrinkles and soft lip enhancement. Because it is a naturally derived ingredient, there is no need for an allergy pre-test before treatment.
Juvéderm is placed below the skin's surface to literall 'fill in' or 'plump up' the static facial wrinkles and folds that are present at rest. It is also used to diminish the depth of wrinkles and create a natural and more refreshed facial appearance.
Treatment with Juvéderm injectable gel is a non-surgical procedure with minimal disruption to your daily activities. The results you receive should last minimum 6 months and up to 2 yrs for some.

Botox
This treatment relaxes the muscles that cause those lines to form and helps keep them relaxed for up to four months. BOTOX is injected into selected facial muscles using a very fine needle. Discomfort is minimal and brief and no anaesthetic is usually required. After injection it takes 2 to 3 days for BOTOX to begin taking effect and around 7 days to see the full effect. The effect can last up to 4 months before lines slowly begin to return. If you have repeated treatments the effect tends to last longer.
If you choose not to have further BOTOX treatments your muscles will eventually return to normal activity and your wrinkles will gradually revert to their pre-treatment levels. BOTOX works on the specific area treated. The usual dose recommended for the treatment of frown lines is 20 units which are injected into 5 different sites. However, this may vary depending on your individual situation and the severity of your frown lines. Your doctor will know what the best dose is for you and which muscles to inject to give you the best results.

Sclerotherapy of Veins
Many people have small veins, most commonly found on the thighs, around the knees, on the calves and on the ankles, which they consider unattractive. Although this condition is called telangiectasias it is also known as spider veins, varicosities, broken capillaries or sunburst vessels. These veins do not serve a purpose; leaving or removing them causes no health problem.

How is it Done?
Sclerotherapy consists of repeated injections of a solution into the veins This irritates the vein lining, causing a small, inconsequential clot in the vein. With the blood flow stopped, the vein will dry up and eventually disappear. This procedure is generally performed on the lower extremities. The solution is usually injected into the veins two or three times over a period of several weeks. Although the veins will generally begin to disappear within several weeks following treatment, it may take up to several months. This process may need to be repeated, depending on the degree of severity. Although spider veins which may be red, pink, violet or blue in color are managed with injections some very small veins can be managed with IPL laser or diathermy. Varicose veins, which are, pencil diameter or larger may be treated by injections or may require surgery. Sclerotherapy is carried out as an office procedure, usually requiring 20 minutes or longer per session. Generally, no more than one to two areas are treated at a time. For extensive vein treatment, several visits will be necessary.

Lipolysis
Lipolysis is a form of Mesotherapy. A technique of injecting medications just under the skin that has been used in Europe for over 50 years. Lipolysis can be used for those unwanted fat pockets. Many areas* of the body maybe treated including the buttocks, ‘love’ handles, thighs, abdomen, under the eyes and especially for under the upper arms. In many cases Lipolysis offers an alternative to even the safest form of liposuction. Lipolysis is a non-invasive alternative supported by a 1994-95 study on “topical fat reduction” by UCLA researchers. This study concluded women who had Lipolysis injections may lose weight even without diet or exercise. It also offered them a simple and effective solution for reducing cellulite. A treatment cycle could require as few as 4 and as many as 10 treatments or more, depending on the size of the area* being treated and the results desired. Most clients notice a difference after the first treatment.
Pricing: $300 - $500 (approx.)
*An area is usually the size of two hands eg. buttocks is one area and lower abdomen is one area.
