What is the cost?
:: Eyebrows $350–$450
:: Eyeliner from $295
:: Lipliner $495
What are the advantages?
Permanent cosmetic make-up is the answer for just about everyone if you:
:: have difficulties applying make-up correctly,
:: are allergic to cosmetics,
:: are visually impaired or have limited arm/hand movement,
:: have oily skin causing make-up to smear or run,
:: are active and lack the time to apply your make-up,
:: suffer from alopecia (hair loss),
:: have thinning eyebrows/lips.
It also has the added advantage of staying on in the shower, during swimming and other sports.
Where is it applied?
Eyebrows Whether you have sparse eyebrows or uneven colour, pigment can be softly applied as a filler or as a whole new shape to create a soft natural look.
Eyeliner Pigment is implanted along the base lash line (top/bottom) for a subtle look giving the eyes definition and making lashes appear fuller and thicker.
Lipliner Give lips a fuller/thinner symmetrical look by applying a light line for a very natural look.
Is it really permanent?
The process is considered semi-permanent but may lighten or fade over a period of up to 2 years, but it varies with each individual.
How long does it take?
Allow approximately 1 hour per application. Two visits are necessary to complete the treatment for new areas. During the first visit, the colored pigments are applied into the epidermis. On the second visit, the final pigments will be applied for a longer lasting effect.
How safe is it?
All articles used are sterile and are disposed immediately after the treatment. After the completion of the treatment, mild swelling and tenderness can be expected up to 48 hours, but you may continue business as usual. You will also be advised about after-care, which involves applying cream on the area twice daily for 5 days.
Treatments are performed by a highly qualified and skilled operator, whom has been practising for 20 years. Previously an instructor and make-up artist, Lillian has undergone intensive training in London. |
